The Makita DBO480 is a compact 18V LXT cordless finishing sander designed for smooth, precise sanding across wood and other surfaces. It delivers high efficiency performance comparable to corded models while offering the convenience of cordless mobility, making it ideal for both professional carpentry and on-site finishing work.
Equipped with a powerful motor, the DBO480 provides two selectable speed settings (11,000 / 14,000 OPM), allowing users to match sanding speed to different materials and applications. Its 1.5 mm orbit diameter ensures fine, controlled material removal for high-quality surface finishing.
The tool features a low-vibration design, improving comfort during extended use, and an electric brake for enhanced control and productivity. It also supports multiple pad configurations (square, rectangular, and triangular pads), making it versatile for flat surfaces as well as corners, edges, and detailed areas.
A hook-and-loop (Velcro) sanding paper system enables quick and easy abrasive changes, while the integrated dust collection system helps maintain a cleaner work environment when paired with a dust bag or vacuum attachment.
